Fiber engineer

Our office is known as one of the strongest growing (engineering) firms in the telecom and infrastructure sector. For our team, we are currently looking for a fiber engineer who wants to contribute to the fiber network in Belgium. You will manage the entire process from A to Z.

The job:
As a fiber engineer:

• You will be responsible for the design and drawing up of complex fiber optic networks as well as the quality control of the design of the back office.
• You will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of the projects.
• You will discuss your designed network with the project manager.
• You will always look for the most optimal solution taking into account the budgets and the customer requirements.
• You will design and document the fiber optic network in a customized drawing program.
• In addition, there are occasional assignments for the Fiber network in the UK.

The skills:

• You have a bachelor's degree in industrial sciences or equivalent through experience.
• You have a professional bachelor in a technical direction or equivalent through experience, preferably as a technical draftsman.
• You have a good knowledge of Autocad.
• Knowledge of Qgis, Fiber Network and/or Proximus network is a plus.
• You can work independently and are solution oriented, but you also like to work in a team.
• You are stress resistant and deadlines do not scare you.
• You like to dot the 'i'.
• Smiling: you enjoy your job and radiate this enthusiasm to customers and colleagues.
